I’m a fine art landscape photographer. My work is vibrant, moody, dynamic and minimalistic. I’ve always been an avid traveler. While traveling I fell in love with the diverse landscapes of the world. Every landscape offers a unique message, yet they all make me feel empowered. That has led me wanting to make this feeling everlasting. As a result, my approach to photographing landscapes is to spark a specific feeling of the natural scenery.
Instead of capturing a specific moment, I prefer capturing a period of time that usually is not noticeable. I use long exposures to reveal the beauty beyond what our eyes can see. With this technique, an entirely different feeling can often be communicated.
When I am shooting, I like to be in control as much as possible, but sometimes the best reward is when I free my mind and allow the most magical scene to unfold in front of me. I’ve learned to be patient and be curious!
